BACKGROUND
Hope for People's Empowerment is a women and youth-centered Non-governmental Organization (NGO). HOPE was established with the aim to respond to the economic and social challenges confronting rural youth and women in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Over the past two years, HOPE has been working with rural communities in two focal areas; a) promoting the economic empowerment of the most marginalized women and youth through support for their livelihood activities, and b) promoting the participation of women and youth in decision-making structures so that local development policies are formulated in ways that can improve their lives and livelihoods.

To work with networks of youth and women to strengthen their agency to improve their living conditions.
